Try switching your hardware from silver to gold or adding a pop of colour to the mix. It’s a simple, yet effective project that will really elevate your kitchen.

Change Over Your Faucets

While you’re at it updating your kitchen cabinets, why not update all the hardware in your home? Adding new faucets and showerheads can really elevate your kitchen and bathroom, giving it a more modern and authentic feel. Plus, it always seems that when you change out your faucet, your sinks tend to work a whole lot better.

Many may advise to not try any plumbing project at home, however this one is safe to do so. Just be sure to pick out faucets that have the same number of mounting points in your sink, and you’ll be good to go.

A few other projects that you can add to your list for the winter season include painting, adding crown molding, reorganizing your closets, switching out your light fixtures and changing your kitchen countertops.
